Research

When you visit the Wildwood Historical Museum, you may spend however long you need to independently research a topic. You may peruse our archives in return for a monetary donation in the amount you choose.

However, if you can't visit the Wildwood Historical Society in person, our staff can search our tax record records for you. Tax record photos depict properties throughout the Wildwoods in certain years. Each photo is $10 and we will email you a copy.

 

If you are searching for land records, titles, deeds or property transfers, we are not the people to ask. You will want to visit the Cape May County Clerk's Office here.

Research takes place whenever it is convenient for our volunteer staff. It will take longer for us to respond to requests sent during the fall/winter/spring. If you haven't heard back about a research request in one week, please email us. We cannot guarantee we will find what you're looking for.
