The Wildwood Historical Society in Wildwood, Cape May County, NJ, annually seeks interns for college credit for the summer season, between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The historical society has a museum run by volunteers that has thousands of artifacts from the history of the Wildwoods. A renewed public interest in our island's past has encouraged a greater number of visitors, and we need extra help to meet this demand.

As an intern, you could help visitors search our archives, assist with artifact intake, do archival research and organization and help with constructing exhibits, all while being in the most exciting place to spend a summer!

College/university students in museum or archival studies, history, historic preservation, business management, communication and all related fields are encouraged to apply. To apply, please email us at wildwoodhistoricalsociety@hotmail.com with a resume and explanation of interest.

Note: Be sure to confirm with your school that an internship with us will count for credit.
