Love Letters from Lou Ann is a collection of 27 short stories written at a later
time in life when my friend Lou Ann Catanoso loved to spend her days reminisc-
ing and journaling. After reading her stories, you will feel as though you spent
time with her, telling you all about her wonderful childhood.
After she discovered my magazine, Lou Ann, who appreciated the fine art of
handwritten letters, wrote to me lauding The Sun for being "a dream-come-true"
for people like herself who loved the nostalgia of the Wildwoods. She wrote,
"Your paper is like listening to Moon River on a record player, fishing off the North
Wildwood bulkhead and smelling the aroma of Coppertone.

This treasured memoir of Lou Ann's expresses her deepest gratitude for the many
blessings of her large close-knit circle of family and friends.
What I am most grateful for, is our friendship that evolved as a result of The Sun.
